Ben Aderholt: Ben Aderholt is a Houston attorney and educator whose career spans more than 5 decades in the legal profession. Over the years, he developed substantial experience in construction law, business law, and bankruptcy, representing developers, corporations, and financial institutions in demanding disputes and transactions. After retiring from active practice, he dedicated himself to teaching Construction Law at South Texas College of Law, where he has served for thirteen years. He completed both his undergraduate and law degrees at The University of Texas, establishing a strong academic base for his professional work. Seeking a broader legal perspective, he later pursued graduate study in international law and completed coursework toward an LLM in International Business Transactions at Lazarski University. As part of an early exchange delegation, he gained exposure to comparative legal systems and the regulatory structures that shape cross-border commerce. He began his legal career at Coats Rose in Houston, focusing on bankruptcy, creditor rights, and commercial litigation. His early cases required careful strategy in complex financial and corporate disputes.
